Spring welcomes Kindle Farm's seasonal traditions
Happy Spring!
We are excited to welcome Spring here at Kindle Farm. This Spring welcomes many exciting Kindle Farm traditions. We recently hosted a fantastic Maple Fest where the entire campus celebrated the sugaring season with various fun activities, including campus-wide kickball games, Bocce Ball, and dodgeball. Refreshments included maple-infused lemonade and popcorn, followed by a fantastic meal prepared by Chef and his student-run team- pancakes, syrup, bacon - Yum. We had record attendance and participation throughout the day!
After returning from break, we jumped into the May Day Challenge on May 1st by challenging ourselves to jump into Kinney Pond. May Day Challenge is a 28-year-old tradition where students and staff jump into calm waters ranging from 45 to 55 degrees! Coming up on May 16th, we will host an open house where the students can showcase their academic skills and work along with their activities. Springtime activities include camping prep, logging, pickleball, biking, and urban exploring.
